Ted Masters, is shot down and captured by the fictional Arab state of Bilya while flying over the Mediterranean Sea.

Now, the Arab state’s court unfairly convicts Col. Masters of trespassing and sentences him to death within just three days. Shocked by the lack of action from the U.S. government, Doug decides to take matters into his own hands. He seeks help from Col. Charles “Chappy” Sinclair, a cool veteran pilot from the Vietnam era, who’s now in the Air Force Reserve.

At first, Chappy is skeptical, but Doug convinces him that they can pull off a daring rescue mission. With access to airbase intelligence and resources from their friends, they manage to get their hands on two powerful F-16 fighter jets. Doug takes one of the jets, and Chappy joins the action too.
