Summary of Third Person
In Third Person, we follow the intertwining lives of several individuals. Michael, a renowned Pulitzer Prize-winning author, finds himself in a charming Parisian hotel, fully engrossed in the creation of his latest literary masterpiece. Interestingly, Michael's current situation came to be after he made the difficult decision to leave his wife, Elaine, in pursuit of a budding romance with Anna, a passionate young journalist.
Meanwhile, across the European continent, we encounter Scott, a shrewd and ambitious American businessman. His current location is Italy, where he's embroiled in an illicit venture involving the theft of valuable fashion designs. It is here that Scott's path crosses with Monika, a Roma woman in dire need of financial assistance to secure her daughter's safe passage with a smuggler. Fueled by an unexpected twist of fate, Scott and Monika embark on a journey together to Southern Italy, where Scott becomes suspicious that he might unknowingly be caught in the web of a complex con game.
